What You’ll Do:

■ Lead and supervise rigging crews, operators, and ironworkers on active job sites
■ Plan daily work, assign tasks, and drive productivity to meet project timelines
■ Direct heavy lifts, equipment moves, and specialty installations
■ Execute rigging plans and ensure all equipment is inspected and job-ready
■ Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols
■ Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients
■ Manage daily reports, time tracking, and equipment logs

What You Bring:

■ 5+ years of experience in heavy rigging, crane operations, or structural steel
■ 2+ years in a foreman or leadership role preferred
■ Strong knowledge of rigging methods, load charts, and equipment capacity
■ Ability to read blueprints, lift plans, and rigging drawings
■ OSHA 30 certification preferred; NCCCO is a plus
■ Valid driver’s license with a clean record
■ Organized, safety-focused, and solution-oriented

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Specialty Rigging Foreman plays a critical role in leading field operations and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of heavy rigging projects. This position is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating logistics, enforcing safety standards, and delivering high-quality results on every job site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

■ Supervise and direct field crews across multiple job sites
■ Execute engineered rigging and lift plans safely and efficiently
■ Coordinate crane operations, trucking, and site logistics
■ Conduct job hazard analyses and safety briefings
■ Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
■ Maintain equipment inspections and certifications
■ Communicate with project stakeholders to align schedules and expectations
■ Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track

QUALIFICATIONS

■ Proven experience in heavy rigging, crane operations, or structural steel
■ Leadership experience in a foreman or supervisory role
■ Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
■ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
■ Excellent communication and team leadership skills
■ Industry certifications (OSHA, NCCCO) preferred
