We are seeking skilled and reliable Class A CDL Drivers to join our crew and play a key role in safely transporting equipment, materials, and machinery for our clients.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport heavy equipment, rigging materials, and other job-related loads to and from project sites. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, timely deliveries, and excellent communication with dispatch and onsite teams. Drivers must have a strong safety record, professional demeanor, and the ability to represent United Rigging in a positive, customer-focused manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely operate Class A CDL trucks and trailers to transport heavy equipment, materials, and machinery.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Secure loads properly to ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations.
• Work closely with dispatch, rigging crews, and project managers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, deliveries, and equipment inspections.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
• Represent United Rigging professionally when interacting with clients, vendors, and the public.
• Assist with rigging operations when required, supporting crews on site.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience (heavy equipment or flatbed hauling preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and safety practices.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in rigging, crane operations, or construction transport is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when projects require.
